Gesucht wird ein motivierter Masterstudent bzw. eine motivierte Masterstudentin oder eine fortgeschrittene Person aus einem ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Studiengang mit starkem Interesse an physischen Energiesystemen und Hardwareentwicklung.

Passende Studienrichtungen sind insbesondere Elektrotechnik, Power Engineering, Energietechnik und Energiewirtschaft, Control of Renewable Energy Systems, Hybrid Electric Propulsion Technology, Micro- and Nanoelectronics oder vergleichbare Fachrichtungen.

Besonders relevant sind Kenntnisse oder praktische Erfahrungen in folgenden Bereichen:

• Leistungselektronik
• Wechselrichter, Umrichter oder Stromversorgungen
• Elektrische Maschinen und Antriebe
• Batteriesysteme / BMS
• Embedded Systems und Regelungstechnik
• PCB-/Elektronikentwicklung
• Erneuerbare Energiesysteme
• Mess- und Labortechnik
• Modellierung und Simulation elektrischer Systeme

Selbstständiges Arbeiten, saubere technische Dokumentation und die Fähigkeit, technische Entscheidungen und Zielkonflikte nachvollziehbar zu diskutieren, sind wichtig.

Fortgeschrittene Englischkenntnisse sind erforderlich. Grundkenntnisse in Deutsch sind ausreichend.

Besonders wichtig sind praktische Neugier, Zuverlässigkeit, analytisches Denken und echtes Interesse am Aufbau physischer technischer Systeme.

Job Description

STAN EGOLD ENERGY is a Berlin-based clean-energy technology startup developing an intelligent energy platform integrating power electronics, battery energy storage, embedded control and smart energy-management software.

We are offering a practical Master’s thesis / engineering study project connected to the development of our Prototype V1 energy system.

Possible technical areas include:

• Power electronics and power-conversion systems
• Inverter / converter architecture and system integration
• Battery energy storage and BMS interfaces
• Embedded control and electrical system integration
• PCB / electronics development
• Renewable-energy integration
• Measurement, testing and validation of electrical subsystems
• Technical evaluation of system efficiency, safety and performance

The exact project scope will be defined together with the selected student and, where required, coordinated with the responsible academic supervisor at BTU.

The work is intended to combine academic engineering methodology with a real early-stage energy-technology development environment.

Location: Berlin, with partial remote collaboration possible depending on the project phase.

Start: As soon as possible / by mutual agreement.
